Q:
I upgraded to Photoshop CS4 and now my prints come out darker than what is displayed on my monitor. What should I do?
A:
Try turning off the color management in Photoshop and make sure you are using the color management in the printer driver. Do the following:

Windows:
  1. In the printer driver, under Mode, click Custom, then select Color Controls.


  2. In Photoshop, open your file and select Print from the File menu. Then choose No Color Management for Color Handling.
Macintosh:
  1. In the final print window under Layout, select Print Settings or Printer Settings. For Color Mode, select Color Controls, and choose Epson Standard sRGB, Adobe RGB, or another selection if appropriate.
