Welcome to Windows Vista® support for Epson products. Here you can find out how to get drivers and other Epson software for your Epson product that work with Windows Vista.
Check your Epson product CD to see if it already contains Windows Vista drivers. If the CD indicates support for Windows Vista, follow the instructions that came with your Epson product to install your driver and other software.
If your Epson CD does not indicate support for Windows Vista, DO NOT INSERT YOUR EPSON PRODUCT SOFTWARE CD IN YOUR WINDOWS VISTA COMPUTER because the setup program is not compatible with Windows Vista. Instructions for installing additional software from your CD may be available with your driver download.
Note:
If you already have ArcSoft PhotoImpression™ 5 installed on your Windows Vista computer, you may need to install a "patch" program. Go to the ArcSoft website to download and install the patch.
See the tables below to find out how your Epson product will be supported on Windows Vista.
If your product name is grayed out, a Windows Vista download is not yet available.
In-Box = Drivers are included with Windows Vista. Just connect your Epson product to your computer and follow the on-screen instructions that Windows Vista displays to guide you through driver installation.
Windows Update = Drivers are available using the automatic software update service built into Windows Vista. Just connect your Epson product to your computer and select Locate and install driver software (recommended) in the window that appears. Your Epson product drivers install automatically. (You may need to select this option more than once during installation).
Download = Drivers are available for download from the Epson support site. Click the product name to go to the Download page for that product. Be sure to select the correct driver type for your version of Windows Vista: either 32-bit or 64-bit. To see which version of Windows Vista you have, click the Start button, Computer, and System Properties, then check the operating system version listed under the System heading.
If your product is listed in the Windows Update section below, the printer driver can be obtained by following these instructions. The scanner driver must be downloaded separately by clicking the product name in the Scanning section below.
Artisan Series, Stylus CX/NX/Photo RX Series and WorkForce Series
There are two components necessary for Epson Laser Printers - one for printing and one for scanning. Please be sure to download and install the Printer Driver and TWAIN Driver/Epson Scan Utility.
