Very nice printer
This is my second Epson printer -one is 410 series- and I'm very happy with both. The ink is very affordable and seems to last, at least in my older printer, I have yet to see this one.
Very compact printers, easy to use and quality prints.

Quality Printing but not Easy to Learn/Use
Epson XP-610 print quality is very good, but I've had numerous problems figuring out HOW (or even IF) I can do things I expect from a printer.
For example, I haven't been able to get grayscale printing, which is what I want 99% of the time. Using color ink greatly increases printing costs and I wouldn't have bought this printer if I knew I could NOT get grayscale.
Also, I have one network computer that does NOT have wireless capabilities. Using this printer from that computer has been a challenge, to say the least. Using the Epson website, it took too long to figure out exactly what type of USB cable I needed. Luckily, I was able to cobble together some existing cables into a configuration that worked.
Also, I've never had a printer with so many pull-out trays. It would be nice if the trays were at least labeled to make it clear which tray customer was pulling out and what its function is. Language barriers could be overcome with int'l symbols.
LBNL, error messages on the printer's screen have not been very helpful. It is esp. frustrating when all it does is beep and say there's an error. Surely, some sort of error message ID could be provided.

I like it - easy to use.
Hard on ink usage.
When printing photos I get black ink marks and globs of black ink on photos.
Sometimes even on regular printing.
Have done all maintenance requirements.

Printer prints on CD & DVD's But puts a BLACK STEAK one or both sides of disk, mainly bought printer for CD & DVD's, and have just considered throwing it un the Garbage, have even tried using it to print documents and just about every time, it jams and when it dose work it shoots out two to three extra sheets of paper. So I don't use it except to scan.

Constant resetting to get printer to print wirelessly from computers
Runs through ink like a sieve
I find this a very frustrating printer to use. I had heard good things of Epson but this printer is not.

My Printer Is The Devil.
This is the worst piece of junk I ever bought. It always runs out of ink about every two months. It is always having at attitude with me and beeps at me with error codes every time I turn the dang thing on! There is so many problems is this thing. Buy something that isn't this expensive so that when it gives you an error code you will not feel guilty for throwing the thing out the window.

Better Than Expected For The Price
This is the first time I purchased a printer for home use and I have not been disappointed. This little all-in-one spits out some high quality prints. But as a result, it does fly through the ink rather quickly (that there should not be a shock to anyone but some reviewers down grade for this reason). I have not experimented with color quality settings since I typically print in black and white to save color ink anyways. Set up for wireless connection was as simple as it gets considering I am close to being technologically challenged. If you can find this printer on sale like I did, give it a try; it's worth every penny.
