I have owned may Epson printers and have always been satisfied. Since I purchased the Epson XP-310 I have had ZERO issues with it. The software included made it very easy to setup and configure, and only took minutes to get it connected and setup through both USB and Wireless connections. The only feature I think would have been great, is if the WIFI indicator lit up when connected. Overall I am very impressed with the overall quality and dependability, and will continue to use Epson in my home!

Rated 5 out of 5 This is a great printer. The ink is not cost a lot. You don't need your camera hooked up to the computer cause the printer has a slot for your card. The scanner works great. The pictures comes out great when you print them.

After reading some pretty good reviews online, I bought this printer for a decent price. It was mainly to be used to print up occasional documents -- nothing more. It was not as easy as other wireless printers to setup, and I am not sure why. Some of the other computers in the house would not see it after day or 2, no matter how many times we set it up.
After a few weeks of use, the quality quickly declined. Blobs of leaked ink, missing portions of text, incorrect or constantly fading colors. It also ate up ink really fast. I tried both genuine Epson Ink, as well as generic ink to see what worked best, and it made no difference. Cleaning the heads and nozzle check also made no difference.
Now, when I print, it doesn't even register that there's an issue, but the paper comes out with faint smudges of what was supposed to print. This is nothing but a headache and I wish I could get back the money I spent on the printer and all the money I wasted on the ink. This is not the first Epson product I have purchased, but it is by far the worst and after this experience, probably the last.
Finally, after reading what others had to say about this more recently, I decided to forego Epson support, as it is likely out of warranty at this point.

This is the worst printer that I have ever owned. After less than one year I have replaced the colored ink ten times. The inability to only use black ink is a fatal flaw. I never print colors but must replace the ink whenever the machine says it is time. This printer also has the habit of not printing. You can hear the printer working but when the paper appears-Blank-!!!!! Time to go buy another printer, surely it will not be a Epson.

So frustrated with this printer. It runs out of ink all the time. Part of the reason? The heads clog all the time and, to get rid of some (note...not even all) of the streaks and lines, I have to clean the heads multiple times which uses up ink. My kids can't even hand in what we print on this printer b/c the quality is so poor. I am embarrassed to use anything I print out either. Only redeemable feature is I can print from my ipad. Going to ditch it ...so fed up.
