My new absolutely favorite new toy!
I'm not a "techie" but I do like a really fun new toy! The Epson MovieMate62 is so "out of the box " fun that I had to share my enthusiasm. Movie Night is on! I still have to learn a few things but I wish I had gotten this a long time ago! Pop a DVD in and you're already rolling. I've had several movie nights and I am in "love"!!
This was my teacher daughter's idea and she's so proud of her "old folk". We use it on our lanai and it's perfect. I think what makes this projector so nice is that the picture is crisp and it gives you a Big Screen Efect that many people are trying for in a home theatre without spending a fortune.

Great product does every thing I need. Long life on the lamp. It's led. Looks good and can project vary large.

GREAT
I absolutely liked my projector and if you have a flat clear wall there is no need for a screen, making it a real space saver. My only con is the heat it generates, but all projectors do this - hopefully Epson is working on this. The cost was also a good deal and the Epson Customer Service was great and responsive to my calls when I was considering purchase and after purchase. Customer Service is and was essential in my making the final decision to purchase.

Pretty slick little machine!!
I purchased this Movie Mate 62 projector for use for our youth ministry. It is very easy to operate. The picture and the sound quality are excellent for indoor use. It is amazing how lightweight it is too. I appreciate the padded case it came in and the handle on the unit.

very happy with this projector! easy to use! works inside and outside! love the built in dvd player and speakers are good :) great for the money and I did alot of research!! very easy to use and comes with a nice soft case!!

moviemate 62
I purchased the Moviemate 72 about 4 years ago and was really impressed. It got damaged beyond repair last year. After purchasing the Movie Mate 62 a couple of weeks ago, even though it is a lower model, the improvements make it better than the 72 worked and sounded even with the lower speakers. Very impressed.

Great Machine
I have just used my new MovieMate three times so far but I am in awe of how easy it is to use. The picture clarity is great and the sound is clear whether in a small space or classroom. It's great being able to show DVD's without the hassle of hooking up a laptop. I highly recommend this machine.

A must need Product
I have been in the market for a projector for years and this has been a great buy. I did my research and wasn't too concerned about 1080p as this one is not. I just wanted to have a great, large picture. This is perfect! It has a built in CD/DVD combo where you can pretty much carry this anywhere. For the price, you can't beat the picture and everyone who sees it says its an outstanding picture. I really love this and cannot see myself going back to a TV again.

MovieMate 62 Projector
All I can say is we love our Epson Moviemate 62 projector. We enjoy movies in the back yard at night with our friends and neighbors. We have a big white sheet that we hang from the ceiling and the kids play their games using the moviemate. They love how big they can make it on the sheet. It is east to use and very portable. We only watch movies using our Moviemate 62 now because we love how great they look. I love the face that you can just put the DVD right in the moviemate and play the movie. I would reccomend it to everyone. I actually purchased two other products before this one and I took them back after 5 minutes of use, as the quality was terrable. I also really like the protective case that comes with the Moviemate 62. It keeps it clean and helps protect it from damage. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

We bought the Moviemate for doing outdoor moives at our church as a ministry. I did extensive research on all products and quickly found that Epson has a very good name in the projector industry. Because we wanted the setup and breakdown to be easy with few parts to lose in the dark, we wanted one where everything is integrated (sound, dvd, projector, etc). The moviemate is just perfect for that!
The only problem I have with the unit is the sound. It is promoted as a unit that you can use at an outdoor theatre. We have used it 6-7 times at my house to test it out before using it for the church. With the sound at maximum, it is just loud enough to hear with mild outdoor noise. We will definitely have to use the external speaker hookup on the back of the unit. It says that it takes a digital coaxial (S/PDIF) audio input port.....? Now to find out what that means....
