Outstanding Scanner
I was looking for a printer obviously, but wanted a high quality scanner as well. I very frequently have a need to scan a document for email purposes. It took about 30 minutes to install everything, including the WiFi (no USB cord required). Everything worked wonderfully and I was actually amazed at the quality of the full color PDF scans. Ink for this machine is expensive however. It uses black plus 5 color cartridges.

Best printer I have ever used
easy scanning, printing, wireless or USB. The set up was so easy, I don't even remember it. I have printed from iPhone, iPad, Macbook and iMac - mostly wirelessly. The menu is a little weird for first time users(guests). But the value and performance makes me wonder why anyone would buy anything else. And props to B&H Photo.

Nice output but not durable
I have to say that when my Epson was working, the output was terrific. Cartridges were $$$ but the inexpensive little printer turned out fine prints. I'm a Mac and the AirPrint & Airport Express worked fine for me. My PC friends had no problem too. I only have one complaint and it was enough that I switched back to HP printers. The printer lasted barely a year. That was disappointing. I am a light user or I would understand if I wore it out, but that was not the case.

pretty good
This is a pretty good printer. I happen to prefer Epson over all other brands because it is so easy to print on CD/DVD's. This Artisan 730 prints great photos and is very fast. The only complaint I have is that it picks up more than one blank sheet once in a while. When we do 8x10 photos we use only one sheet of photo paper at a time for this reason. When half the photo is printed on two sheets it isn't pretty. This is why I gave it 4 stars out of five. It is great in every other aspect. Maybe mine is an exception. I don't know.

Great Printer
The 730 is a Great Printer I take Action shots mostly Airshows Retired Marine Corp Pilot I get to take some great pictures. The Epson printer can capture the real essence of clarity as well as color when these pictures are printed. I also have purchased the Epson WF-7520 for large format pictures 13x19 prints print out unreal clarity and again color both printers I use the extra capacity ink cartridges a little chunk of change but they produce excellent pictures and last pretty long before replacing them.

Nice printer - one flaw
I like most everything about this printer. It has served me well. However, if you need to print on 3-hole punched paper, this printer won't work for you. It recognizes each hole as an end of form and starts printing the next page. Epson's response to this: don't use 3-hole punched paper.

Fabulous
This is one of many Epson Artisan all-in-ones that I have had. I do a lot of stuff for an organization that my wife belongs to. I am thrilled with the quality of the many things I print out . I really like the fact that there are five ink color cartridges along with the black. I really appreciate the high output cartridges. My only regret is that Epson has given up on the Artisan series of printers.

Fantastic Printer
This printer is the CATS MEOW...
I had the Epson RX595 Photo Printer, sad to say but it bit the dust....
This printer does every thing it did plus more....
the wireless feature is great, I do a lot of disc printing besides photos....
In a NUT SHELL if you want a printer that does it all do yourself a favor and get this one..

The Artisan 730 is a noisy cuss. Even when sitting for some time, it needs to adjust itself, as if it were a senior citizen needing to move around when sitting too long. It prints satisfactorily, and is comfortable printing from both Linux, as well as Windows.. The Wi-Fi works well enough, although the remote configuration was unavailable to my primary computer, Ubuntu. Epson I guess figures that Just configuring it for Windows was enough.
